Clinical Workshop: Application of Electromyography (EMG) for neurorehabilitation

This clinical workshop is designed to provide physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and medical professionals with comprehensive insights into the effective application of electromyography (EMG) for neurorehabilitation.

Guided by leading professionals in the field from Royal Rehab LifeWorks Ryde and Aerobe, participants will be equipped with an understanding of the following topics:

• Foundations of EMG: Learn the basics of Electromyography (EMG), including terminology, parameters, biofeedback, indications, and contraindications.
• Clinical Integration: Discover how to integrate EMG into neurological therapy programs, complementing traditional and robotic therapies, with hands-on practice and case studies.
• Tailoring EMG for Goals: Explore how to customise EMG devices to support specific therapy goals and optimise patient outcomes.
