Group member expression of Interest for October 2024. Join us for our first in-person Young Adults Living with Aphasia Group at Royal Rehab LifeWorks Ryde.
We are pleased to introduce our first in-person Young Adults Living with Aphasia Group (YALA). This program is designed for young adults aged 18 to 45 who have been diagnosed with aphasia following a brain injury.
Our aim is to support the improvement of functional communication and social skills in a structured, supportive environment.
The group will run every Thursday for 6 weeks at Royal Rehab Ryde.
We aim to start in October 2024.
This in-person group has 6 sessions focusing on:
New clients to Royal Rehab LifeWorks Ryde will be required to complete a brief initial consultation with a Speech Pathologist to assess their needs and ensure suitability for the group.
