Behaviour Support Practitioner

Kate has extensive experience in delivering ABA therapy and positive behaviour support services, particularly for children with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.

Collaborating closely with caregivers and support networks, she implements effective behavioural strategies within both home and school environments. Kate excels in providing therapeutic 1:1 skill-building programs that focus on promoting emotion regulation, social skills, and positive communication. Kate is experienced in creating a safe and nurturing environment and demonstrates an understanding of the importance of trauma-informed support.

Beyond her experience in working with children, Kate offers comprehensive behaviour support services to individuals of all ages. Her extensive knowledge covers a wide range of neurodevelopmental and psychosocial conditions, highlighting her proficiency in working with clients across a broad spectrum of diagnoses, which include intellectual disability, bipolar disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia.
