Yes. If you have an approved Workers Compensation or Motor Vehicle Accident (CTP) claim, you can access physiotherapy at Royal Rehab LifeWorks, located within The Fitness Edge. Our Senior Physiotherapist, Michael, is SIRA-accredited and approved to deliver treatment under both Workers Compensation and CTP schemes. Once your treatment has been approved by your insurer, we’ll work closely with you to support your recovery and help you return to your daily activities safely and confidently.

Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

For appointments before 10AM (when the main club is closed), please enter via the early morning entry stairwell on Ryedale Road, located to the left of the main club entrance.

No, you don’t need a referral to see our physiotherapists or massage therapists. However, if you’re eligible for Medicare rebates for physiotherapy, a GP referral under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan is required.

Yes, under certain conditions. If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan and a referral from your GP, Medicare provides rebates for up to five physiotherapy sessions per calendar year.

Having run his own successful clinic, Roberto understands that great care goes beyond technique - it’s about listening, adapting, and creating tailored treatment plans that truly make a difference. He has worked alongside top physiotherapists, and sports teams such as the Sydney Swans, ensuring his clients get the most comprehensive care possible.

When he’s not helping others move better, you’ll find Roberto staying active himself - hiking, strength training, and taking on new challenges. Senior Physiotherapist

Michael is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. With experience across hospitals, private clinics, and professional sports teams, he knows what it takes to support recovery and performance at every level.

He’s worked with rugby league and basketball athletes - from aspiring juniors to elite professionals - focusing on rehab, injury management, and strength training. An APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy, Michael is always expanding his skills, currently working toward his ASCA Level 2 Strength and Conditioning accreditation.

Michael believes in making rehab practical, sustainable, and tailored to each person’s goals.

Outside of work, you’ll find him on the basketball court, lifting weights, or exploring new places with a good book in hand.
