Our home modification service is designed to support people who are finding it difficult to move around or use certain areas of their home safely due to disability, injury, or changing health needs.
We take the time to understand how you live day to day – your routines, challenges, and priorities. Working closely with you, we recommend thoughtful, practical changes to improve safety, accessibility, and ease with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, preparing meals, or simply getting from one room to another. Every modification is personalised to help you feel more confident, capable, and comfortable in your own home.
This service is provided in the comfort of your home by our mobile allied health team.
Your occupational therapist will conduct a thorough review of your home to identify areas that may benefit from modification. They will then arrange a joint visit with a qualified builder. Together, they will work with you to explore feasible modifications and ensure proposed changes align with your personal needs and goals.
Your occupational therapist will provide recommendations for the required home modifications, including preparing drawings and detailed reports to support applications to relevant funding bodies.
