Speech pathology

Our speech pathologists focus on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.

This can include challenges with speech, language, voice, fluency, understanding or expressing language, as well as difficulties with eating and swallowing.

Whether supporting recovery after a stroke, managing a neurological condition like Parkinson’s, or assisting someone after a brain injury, our speech pathologists use evidence-based strategies tailored to each person’s unique needs.

Our speech therapy services are available at:

  • Ryde: Based within our Advanced Technology Centre, the Ryde team provides specialised speech pathology for people with neurological conditions. Therapy focuses on improving speech, language, voice, and swallowing, supported by advanced technology and a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Penrith: Our Penrith team offers personalised speech pathology to support communication and swallowing needs. Services are delivered in a welcoming, community setting and guided by evidence-based practice to help clients achieve their goals.
