David is an experienced Speech Pathologist with a mixed background working in community, hospital, nursing homes, and specialised clinics.

David is an experienced Speech Pathologist with a mixed background working in community, hospital, nursing homes, and specialised clinics.

David has been practising as a Speech Pathologist since he graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology Studies from the University of Queensland in 2011. He began his professional career as an opera singer and singing teacher majoring in classical voice and pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He has worked as a generalist Speech Pathologist with both adults and children and has a special interest in improving voices. He has trained in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) program for clients with Parkinson’s Disease. He still enjoys singing as a tenor with the Opera Queensland chorus.
