Mental health conditions

Expert support, tailored to you.

Our psychologists are highly trained professionals who bring both expertise and empathy to every session. We’re here to help you understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours—and to support you through life’s challenges with evidence-based, practical strategies.

We know that trust and connection matter. That’s why we take the time to get to know you and tailor a plan that fits your goals, your needs, and your life.

While we love seeing clients in person, we also offer flexible options—including sessions via Microsoft Teams or phone—so support is always within reach.

Services that can be accessed with NDIS funding or with Medicare through GP referred Mental Health Care Plans include

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD)
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD)
  • Mood disorders such as bipolar
  • Psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia
  • Substance use disorders such as alcohol or drug dependence
  • Sleep disorders such as insomnia
  • Eating disorders

Seeing a psychologist is a collaborative, evidence-based process focused on improving your mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Your psychologist will take the time to understand your concerns, history, and goals.
They will work with you to set meaningful objectives and develop strategies to manage symptoms and triggers. Working with you, they will focus on:
  • Managing unhealthy reactions: Identify and change automatic responses that may be affecting your relationships, work, or overall quality of life.
  • Understanding emotions and behaviours: Gain insight into how your thoughts and emotions are linked, and how they shape your actions.
  • Managing challenging unhelpful thought patterns: Learn to recognise and reframe thinking patterns that may be holding you back.
  • Exploring root causes: Uncover emotional or psychological contributors to stress, anxiety, or other issues.
  • Alleviating symptoms: Work towards reducing distress and improving daily functioning through proven strategies.
  • Enhancing emotional wellbeing and healing: Strengthen your emotional resilience, self-awareness, and capacity for healthy coping.
  • Managing life changes: Receive guidance and tools to navigate transitions such as grief, diagnosis, or relationship shifts.

While we love seeing clients face-to-face, we also understand that life can be busy. That’s why we offer flexible options, including sessions via Microsoft Teams or over the phone—whatever works best for you.
