The Armeo® Spring is a robotic exoskeleton designed to support active rehabilitation of the arm and hand. It enables self-initiated, repetitive practice of functional movements by providing adjustable spring-loaded support, helping people regain strength, mobility and coordination after injury or illness.
The Armeo® Spring offers dynamic weight support through a mechanical spring mechanism. This allows people to move their arms in a natural, three-dimensional space with reduced effort, even in the early stages of recovery.
Therapists can adjust the level of assistance to match the user’s strength and functional ability. By encouraging self-initiated movement and repetitive practice of real-world tasks, Armeo® Spring promotes motor learning, neuroplasticity and improved functional outcomes.
Interactive therapy exercises and engaging virtual tasks keep sessions motivating, while the system continuously tracks and records progress to inform personalised treatment plans.
