Hydrotherapy uses the unique properties of water to help improve your strength and mobility. It’s great for people who are managing conditions like arthritis, recovering from surgery or illness, or dealing with neurological issues.
When you’re in water, your body feels different sensations that can help boost your immune system, reduce stress hormones, improve your circulation and reduce sensitivity to pain. When you combine these benefits with specialised exercises, hydrotherapy can help you get stronger, move better, and improve your overall function and wellbeing.
The best part? Hydrotherapy isn’t just therapeutic, it’s also enjoyable and fun!
Whether you’re doing hydrotherapy alone or with others, we’ll work with you personally to create a program that’s customised just for you.
We’ll begin with simple movements that are appropriate for your abilities and skill level. Then, we’ll progress to more challenging exercises like water aerobics, deep water running, and fitness workouts.
You can choose to do hydrotherapy at your local community pool or in our heated hydrotherapy pool, which is kept comfortable with air conditioning. Our team is highly trained and experienced, so you’ll be amazed at the progress you’ll make with us.
In addition to hydrotherapy, as we work to progressively develop your skills, confidence and independence, depending on your specific needs, your program may include a range of therapies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and more.
A team of skilled therapists and clinicians.
A program that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
A genuine partnership between you and your clinical/therapy team so you have choice and control.
A warm and friendly environment where you feel safe and cared for.
There are several funding options available to access our services and programs, including NDIS, icare and self-funding, with options for private health insurance coming soon.
