Cerys is a dedicated Speech Pathologist passionate about helping individuals build meaningful social connections by advocating for their communication differences, improving communication skills, and developing personalised therapy plans. She also provides tailored mealtime management plans and support for swallowing difficulties, ensuring clients can eat and drink safely and comfortably.

At Royal Rehab LifeWorks Cairns, Cerys enjoys working closely with clients to create therapy plans that align with their interests, aspirations, and needs. She strives to make each session engaging, meaningful, and impactful, fostering confidence and empowerment in communication both during therapy and in everyday interactions.

With experience across hospital settings, schools, aged care facilities, community rehabilitation, and disability services, Cerys has worked with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds in the UK, Brisbane, and now Cairns.

Cerys has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and adults with neurological conditions and multiple disabilities, focusing on goals related to communication challenges, swallowing difficulties, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs.
