Jonathan brings over two decades of experience working with individuals across a range of community health and private practice settings. He is passionate about supporting people living with complex mental health needs and takes a flexible, person-centred approach to care.
Jonathan often provides therapy in the home to help engage individuals who may find it challenging to connect in traditional clinical environments. His work is guided by trauma-informed and strengths-based principles, focusing on building trust, safety, and meaningful connection.
He has supported clients of all ages with a wide range of concerns, including acute, chronic, and complex mental health conditions, interpersonal issues, self-harm, suicidality, grief and bereavement, and matters relating to body, gender, and sexual diversity.
Jonathan’s therapeutic background includes narrative and cognitive behavioural therapies, complemented by psychosocial and systemic perspectives. His goal is to empower each person to enhance their wellbeing, resilience, and quality of life.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Royal Rehab acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future and we extend our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples.
