This global exposure has equipped her with a deep understanding of how to effectively collaborate with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as navigate complex social and economic environments.
Melinda’s experience spans working with individuals facing complex physical and neurological disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. She brings a wealth of knowledge in utilising advanced technologies for rehabilitation, enabling her to provide innovative and effective solutions to her clients. Additionally, Melinda is actively involved in training and mentoring other therapists in the complex field of assistive technology (AT) prescription, including custom wheelchairs and home modifications.
In her role as the Program Coordinator for the Royal Rehab LifeWorks team, Melinda is thrilled by the opportunity to shape and expand their services as they continue to grow. She is dedicated to ensuring that their client service remains supportive, personalised, and of the highest quality.
