Shareen Fairley

Speech Pathologist

Shareen is passionate about helping individuals to improve their communication, creating unique therapy plans to meet their goals. She develops mealtime management plans and provides assistance with swallowing difficulties.

Shareen enjoys getting to know clients at Royal Rehab LifeWorks Cairns and creating goals and therapy plans that are unique to their interests, aspirations and needs. She is also able to assist with swallowing difficulties and creating mealtime management plans. Shareen aims to make every session enjoyable, as well as challenging, with tasks that make a positive impact on client’s everyday life. She wants to ensure you feel comfortable, confident and empowered both in your sessions and in communicating with others.

Shareen has experience across hospital, school, aged care, rehabilitation and disability contexts and has worked with people of all ages and varied backgrounds. She graduated from The University of Queensland in 2019 and since then has worked in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Shareen has particular interest in working with adult and adolescent clients as well as delivering group programs. She has completed additional training to deliver Lee Silverman Voice Treatment, as well as stuttering and language development programs.
