Let us introduce Mel, a Senior Speech Pathologist with 10 years’ experience supporting adults living with acquired neurological conditions across private and public health settings. Throughout her career, she has worked across acute, sub-acute, outpatient, day program and community environments, helping people navigate changes and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Mel is passionate about improving quality of life by finding personalised ways to support people’s communication, connection and participation in everyday life. She finds the most rewarding part of her role is helping individuals reconnect with others and engage in the things that are important to them.
Most people know her as Mel, and she brings warmth, experience and a person-centred approach to supporting clients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Royal Rehab acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future and we extend our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples.
