We offer SPEAK OUT! ® group classes as part of our Parkinson’s Therapy program.
SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program was created by Parkinson Voice Project. This evidence-based program aids individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s in reclaiming and preserving their speech and swallowing abilities.
Group Classes are for people with Parkinson’s or other neurological disorders and focus on exercises and techniques to help regain and retain speech and swallowing in a supportive group environment. They complement and follow individual speech therapy and home practice.
Classes run every week. (Please speak to our team if you would like Individual therapy)
Program Structure
Start with a 60-minute initial assessment conducted by a licensed SPEAK OUT! Speech Pathologist.
Continue with 30-minute individual sessions, held twice a week over approximately four weeks.
From week three, participants begin transitioning into small SPEAK OUT! group classes (6–8 people), led by a licensed practitioner.
Re-evaluations take place every 3–6 months to support continued group participation or determine the need for refresher individual sessions.
We’ll work together to understand what’s right for you. Depending on your needs and objectives and to ensure you get the best possible results, your personalised therapy program may also incorporate additional therapies, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and more.

There are several funding options available, including NDIS, private health insurance, Medicare with the payment of a gap and self-funding.
